The 5-9 September 2011 sees the first Scottish Apprenticeship Week, promoting the benefits of apprenticeships to employers and individuals alike. 

With all the news that has been in the press of late with regards to tuition fees, funding gaps and economic doom and gloom its great to see apprenticeships getting the attention they deserve as a way of giving people of all ages and backgrounds an opportunity to develop new skills in the workplace and earn while they learn.
