Kaplan Financial Glasgow is delighted to announce a scholarship opportunity for a student currently in S4-S6 who is interested in a career in accountancy. The scholarship will provide the winner with free AAT training, followed by the professional qualification of their choice (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CIPFA), worth in excess of £15,000*. The ideal candidate would be someone who is capable of obtaining a place at university but is considering entering the workplace as a school leaver.
Kaplan have many employers in the pipeline who are keen to employ trainees in the school leaver age group and obviously, the scholarship winner makes an ideal candidate!
In fact, Kaplan are seeing more and more employers adopt school leaver programmes to replace or supplement their graduate intake, so there has never been a better time for students in S4 – S6 to consider this route into accountancy. Kaplan have contacts with practices of all sizes, from the ‘big 4′ accountancy firms, to the financial sector and industry. Learners following this route could find themselves fully qualified as an accountant by the age of 21!
