Young Scot highlight AAT success stories

Young Scot have recently highlighted two AAT success stories on their website to promote the apprenticeship route into an accountancy career from both the perspective of the trainee and the employer.

Grant Thornton AAT trainee, Nicola Keenan’s case study where she shares her story of how she opted for work over university is now live on the Young Scot Extra website, along with an interview from Campbell Dallas’ HR Director Yvonne Anderson, who provide’s the employer’s insight into why apprenticeships have been great for their business.

AAT recently attended Kaplan Financial’s product update evening in Edinburgh, where the team from Scotland gave employers a glimpse of the future as they talked through some of the blended learning solutions they have on offer.

Designed to complement and add value to both classroom and distance learning tuition, Sarah Cordwell, the Centre manager for Glasgow, explained some of these developments and how they can support both Kaplan students and the wider accountancy training community.

Sign up for an AAT training course this autumn

It’s the first week of autumn, and although ‘summer’ 2012 may have passed us by, the chance to get started with your AAT studies is still there for the taking.

Many of our AAT training providers in Scotland still have places available on their courses for the autumn intake. The following are also offering funded places for those who meet the eligibility criteria through the modern apprenticeship scheme:
