Kaplan Financial Scholarship Opportunity

Kaplan Financial Glasgow is delighted to announce a scholarship opportunity for a student currently in S4-S6 who is interested in a career in accountancy. The scholarship will provide the winner with free AAT training, followed by the professional qualification of their choice (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CIPFA), worth in excess of £15,000*. The ideal candidate would be someone who is capable of obtaining a place at university but is considering entering the workplace as a school leaver.

The 5-9 September 2011 sees the first Scottish Apprenticeship Week, promoting the benefits of apprenticeships to employers and individuals alike. 

With all the news that has been in the press of late with regards to tuition fees, funding gaps and economic doom and gloom its great to see apprenticeships getting the attention they deserve as a way of giving people of all ages and backgrounds an opportunity to develop new skills in the workplace and earn while they learn.

Funded places available – Autumn 2011

Looking for funding? Kaplan financial, Microcom Training and James Watt College have fully funded places available to people in employment who meet their eligibility requirements for courses starting in August and September. This includes some places for adults over the age of 20 although some restrictions apply.

Many of our other providers are also currently recruiting for their Autumn 2011 intake and will be happy to advise you on their courses.
